I own a 2000 Hollow T Contoured that people mistaken it for a Cobra. I do too. What's the difference, really?

Visually? If you look straight on the only difference would be scale length.
But for that year there are wood and other options that could differentiate the two, if selected. Oh and these days, due to "short versions" not sure if a straight on look the scale length would be a difference!
yes, scale length, pickup and bridge locations are different.
the neck is a a bit shorter, bridge a bit closer to the neck, and pickups adjusted for scale length.
the 22nd fret is in the same place and body perimeter is the same:D

So, what's the scale length on this one?
In other words, they are very similar! :D
your hollow t is 25.5" scale. the cobra is 24.75" scale.
