The satin craze...

Satin finishes seem to be making a splash. What say you guys? Cool, not cool? This one is pretty nice looking.

We've only done a handful of them but Ilike the way they feel, very slippery agains your body and forearm.

I'm kinda digging it. Tom, do you think they'll get glossed up over time or will they maintain their satin feel?

over time, yes. in the areas of greatest contact like the forearm contour. probably much like you see on lots of the relic stuff. it doesn't go to a full gloss like our regular stuff, and probably less shiny than the back of satin necks gets after ten years of playing.

Wow! Very Pretty. I'm not generally a big fan of satin, but that's nice. I've also seen a few satin PRS's that were pretty sharp.
