I just wanted to share my impressions of my first TA guitar. I have been waiting for years to get a guitar this good in my hands (To be honest the guitar is much better than I deserve!!).
I have been fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to own allot of different guitars over the years, and maybe it took those trials to arrive at what I really wanted in a guitar. I have never kept what I don't play so I don't keep a large stable of instruments, three to four at most. Including an acoustic.
I ordered this TA Tele after trying one for the first time this past January. I have always loved Tele's so that's the platform I chose. I wanted a little more variety in the tonal palate over the stock tele sound. So, after consulting with my friend at the dealer we chose the PQ-1 to go in the neck.
I just want to say that I never imagined I would get a Tele with so much versatility!! This guitar does everything I need and more! I literally could show up with this guitar for a strait-up Classic rock gig, go to a Country gig from there, and hit an after hours Jazz gig on the way home!! With no longing to have a different Ax in the back seat!!! I am telling you the marriage of the PQ-1 with the TF3 is F'ing amazing!!! (I am pretty sure there is a family of tonal elves that live inside of this guitar!!)
Suffice to say I am very happy with this guitar. Along with the tons of tone, the craftsmanship on the fit and finish are above reproach. I never thought I could be so happy with one guitar or that after all the trials and tribulations with all the rest, would bond so strongly with one instrument.
Thank you to Tom Anderson and all is able body staff.
