Other than the great playing and tone, the sense that he is having a great time playing is inspiring.
Man I'd be sitting in that chair looking around at all that stuff saying... Will someone show me how all this works? Please? Lol

Another chance for me to promote "Guitarland".
What a great album! Get it, if you don't already have it.

wonderful player and as tom mentioned, a really great guy.
These videos he's putting out are fantastic as a learning tool. Getting into his approach for creating parts is really appealing to me. It's more of a lesson on the creative process rather than 'how to play guitar.' The stuff on getting sounds is great too. Great channel he's got there.

From the looks of it the kemper wasn't plugged in the beginning which was odd.. He had one of those yamaha thrs behind it.
probably was the trusty /13. it always looks plugged in.

Definitely has something going into the Kemper at the beginning because the Quick Tuner on the far lower left is working when he plays.
I actually use a THR5A as a small Kemper monitor when stage volume is a concern. Because it is the Acoustic version, it doesn't "color" the sound with an amp model.

Isn't the kempers input on the left in front? its in frame and i dont see anything plugged in. i may be wrong though but i just assumed it wasn't plugged in.

Front Right is the input, which is partially hidden in the video. There are also inputs on the back that can be assigned as the main input as well.
*edit* the Headphone jack is the one on the left side
