5 way switch question

Hi Tom.

I have a drop top with H-S-H and i want to have this combination:

1 pos: Bridge hum
2 pos: Bridge + middle as single coils
3 pos: middle hum
4 pos: middle + neck as single coils
5 pos: neck hum

Do i have to install a different 5-way switch or it can be with this one?

you do need the super switch to do that if the middle pickup is a humcanceller. if it's a true single coil you can do it without.

Yes the middle pickup is a humcanceller so i need the super switch.
I know the vlx 91 and a model that dimarzio used(?) to have, as far as i know...

not sure what that is, but we buy the oak switch from allparts. they call it the super switch and have it with 2 different shaft lengths depending if you are using on a pg or a rear rout body.

These components has different dimensions.
If it's not difficult can you teel me the dims of the switch on my drop top?

mounting holes are the same. the switch is wider and all to one side. in an S style rout, , the "extra" width can go towards the volume control.

Tom i opened the back plate of the guitar and my switch is this:

But it seems to me like the one that allparts calls super switch. Do i already have it in my guitar or there is someting differtent?

Same switch, we use them in all our guitars with 5ways.

Tom sorry but i didn't get it, maybe because english language is not ny native.
Do i have the super switch on my drop top or not? these two switches looks identical to me...if i'm wrong please correct me
