Tom, what's the best material to touch-up the sunburst finish on dowled screw-holes?

touching up a trans color is always the hardest part. when there is a hole plugged it is even harder. the plug makes a hard line that is impossible to hide. art stores have zillions of colored markers, many in the redish brown are so that part should not be too tough.
super glue is a good fill for the clear coats. the problem with it when filling a hole is that it shrinks faster than the finish around it so you want to sand as fine as possible so that buffing time is minimal.

i try to avoid finish repairs here as they never look as good as i hope they will look.
