VA Booster Mini Toggle

Just curious: The mini toggle on my VA Booster has three positions. In the up and middle positions, the Booster is not engaged, but in the down it is. Is this correct?

Booster is engaged in only the down position.

Up splits any humbuckers.

Middle engages humbuckers.
