All switching takes place with my Behringer FCB1010 foot controller. The great thing is a group has made a plug and play chip that converts the FCB into a dedicated, out of the box controller for the Kemper: http://www.uno4kemper.com/index.php. I didn't have to program a thing. I updated the Kemper to the most current firmware and plugged it in. Off to the races!

Currently I am using the the built in effects and have not had the chance to test out the effects loop yet. I have a couple of pedals I love and will eventually give them a try but so far I have been very happy with what has been included. Let me know if you have any other questions. My guitars sound fantastic through it!! :cool:

the kemper is very interesting to me. i think i am not enough of a planner to use one live, which is really the only playing i do other than testing guitars here. i don't usually have the time to twiddle with knobs here, i just show up and play.

I am very much a plug and play guy too. This thing sounds so great out of the box there is nothing to it. Profiles are created with an amp's sweet spot so there is no need to adjust any knobs. I rarely touch the EQ knobs. You should try one. Seriously, it is that good and simple.

after a short period of time which you'll need to get familiar with Kemper ,only what you have to do is to press buttons on your foot controller , choosing amps.

It was amazing how the Lucky Dube guys liked my Tom Anderson guitar, they reacted like a kids , without hiding a joy !

My lovely Tom anderson Drop Top's. Same models but quite different sound and feel due to specs and tonewoods.. With these two i can make almost any guitarsound. Current amp Koch Multitone and TC-Gforce, all effects i need and some more:)

And I, too, have been using a Kemper for live shows since May. I've been using a Ground Control Pro to control it.

what are you using for stage volume? or are you running direct?

I run stereo direct out of the Kemper to foh and monitors. I run the monitor out of the Kemper into the power amp section of my evh 5150iii head and a 212 cab just for stage volume and feel. The monitor out has a completely separate volume and even some eq if I need to tweak it for the size of the stage or whatever, but the foh gets the same tones much more consistently now.

Is that PowerBridge or perhaps X-Bridge equipped? Is that what that extra "stuff" is for?

If so, how do YOU run your faux acoustic tone?
