View Full Version : Winter NAMM, anyone have pointers on going?
Always wanted to fly down and check out a NAMM show as a short little 'vacation' trip. Anyone have any pointers? What airport to fly into? How do you get in to the show? Where to stay? Never even been to that state.

John Wayne Airport would be the closest, although you could fly into LAX or San Diego, though each would be a bit of a drive and some of the bussiest freeways on the planet.
The Anehiem Convention Center is litteraly across the street from Disneyland so any of the hotels that are recommended for Disneyland would also work for NAMM. They will book up early (possibly allready booked up) and be expensive. I'm not sure where to stay that's a little ways away as I drive up from San Diego and back down the same day when I go.
You will need a pass and a photo ID as it's not open to the public.

yeah, I don't think winter NAMM has a public day like the summer show in Nashville. You have to be manufacturer, dealer, etc,. to be able to register for a badge.

I recall they had a open to public Sunday during the NAMM 12' but it went back to manufacturer, dealer, guests of dealers & mfg, etc. in 13'.
