Swapping pups?

I picked up a set of Fralin pickups in a trade and am itching to try them on one of my (3 pup) Hollow T's for a change in the tone (they both have the same kind of pups now), and so I could flip-flop between the 2 guitars. Has anyone ever tried swapping an already wired 'F-style' American Tele pickguard onto an Andy? Do the holes & everything line up? If not, I'll just order a new TA one and go from there. This is just already assembled - and would just save some extra bucks and extra work. You don't wanna be anywhere near me if I have a soldering iron in my hand. :eek: ;)

can't vouch for where the pickups are, but the edge mounting holes are definitely different as is the neck pocket.
