this for anyone who wants PQ goodness in their humbucker guitar. they are a direct size replacement for our regular covered humbuckers. these have the atom baseplate, but are available in standard hb mounting. available in pqh1-, pqh1, pqh2 and pqh3.

That looks great!!! Would they fit at all in an uncovered humbucker spot? The aesthetics are awesome.

They fit in any of our rings, but will fit through the pg hole where an H or HF series hb fit.

in other words, I can replace my HC's (in Bulldog) with PQ's and fit them in the rings to cover that gap ?
If yes, how many different tones I will have in Bulldog , since PQ's cannot be splitted as HB's ?
Just asking :)

Harry,

If you like the sound of your Bulldog, don't mess with it...

Just get another one.

I said: just asking :)
and your idea about another Bulldog is actually not so bad !

the pqh will directly fit where HC's are. they are two coils, so they can be split or paralleled.

that tobacco fade with bigsby. I think I asked you first (years ago) if that one was for sale. Still looks killer and now ........! Nice!

So it will fit in my cobra's pup rings or in my mongrel's pg?

Any way to get some wound for 80/20 bronze strings? ;)

Broken, yes it will fit in you ring. It will fit in your pg if you have an hc there now.
Briggs, not for crowds, it's a different size and string spacing.

ok, so after some high level secret meetings we have decided to call it PH, as in P that fits in an H hole(even though it really fits in an HC hole). also to keep it at 2 characters and avoid confusion with the regular PQ.

we also are finishing up some new guitars that we should be ready to show next week. one will feature these pickups so you'll see them in a pickguard.

if is not a problem , could you explain that wonderfulness -mahogany/pq just a little bit more ...:p ,for non English speaking guys like me ...
i am really thinking to order pq's for my DT , not for Bulldog ...Bulldog is a perfect deal ,nothing to add.... nothing to change...
so, how two pq's might sound with DT mahogany body, maple top, maple neck with rosewood freetboard ,compared to of H1/3 ???
Thanks !!!

I'll let Tom pipe in here, but I think P90-esque pickups are most awesome in LP-junior or LP type instruments...
