For the life of me I can't see where to adjust the tension for the drop-in trem arm on my HDT.
Am I missing something?

If it's pre 06, the screw is hiding on the treble end of the block just under the baseplate. Insert the arm and depress it to expose it. 1.5mm wrench.

Little bugger was hiding just where you said it would be.
Thanks, Tom.
I've got over 25 guitars and which is my "go-to" to cover the most styles of music?
My TAG HDT.

So upon closer inspection I see that there is no set-screw in there.
I can see the threads, but no screw.
Any way to get a few replacements?

As long as we are on the topic, anyone know where the adjustment is for post 2006 vintage trems, if any?

Thanks.

It's on the collar thst the arm goes into.

Thanks Tom! Guess I lack an eye for the obvious! But then, I never had need to look as it has always fit perfect, and for that, thanks again!

How's everyone? I've had a couple shakeups in life, and haven't spent much time on the forum, other than just gawking at the porn. :D

OK, on my '09 Hollow T - the arm got very loose rather quickly. I found on the collar where the adjustment is, but it looks just like a hole where a hex wrench would go in. Should there be a screw in there, as described? That would certainly explain why I wasn't having any luck.

And if that's the case, Tom...could I please get another screw to fit into that?

As always, thanks for your help!!!

Terry

Actually, I took this to my tech today for a setup. I did not have had the perfect size wrench to get into there (one was too small, the next size was too big), and he was able to get it tightened just right for me. :o

False alarm guys, but thanks anyway!!!

Terry
