See that guy in the pic below? Eh, it's just Glenn Pearce...

Now look to the far right of the pic and see the amps! A Divided By 13 RSA31 on the bottom and a Morgan Stealth on top.

The Stealth was built by none other than Joe Morgan to Glenn's specs. Based on a 50W Plexi. You won't find these on Joe's web site (http://www.morganamps.com/). He built only two. I talked to him and he has no plans to build anymore.

Well, Morgan Stealth Serial #2 of 2 arrived at my door Saturday! Another piece of gear that found me!

Single Channel with TMB tone stack, Master Volume and Gain. Also a MV Bypass switch...yeah, right! ;)

EL34 goodness and all that. Very nice cleans to all out. Touch sensitive, very dynamic, etc. I'm rolling tubes, but it is sounding oh so sweet!

Small head box is a big plus as it will fit in my existing live in road case.

I'm on hiatus, but can't wait to get back and use this thing live.

Thanks for looking/listening,
Ray K.

LOL...And I thought the one I posted would be sufficient! ;)

I have it on my bench right now waiting on the "tube fairy." So at least you get to see a partial gut shot. Taken with my camera phone.

And yes, I do play through it like this, for the time being.

Also, I'll post a few below from the previous/original owner.

Clips...don't know when that will happen. So, no promises just yet.

Enjoy,
Ray K.

Great score! I've been playing 2 Morgan amps for quite a few years now, love them. I want to hear an SW22R.

Hey Charlie, A friend of mine has one of Joe's "voxish" style heads. So, I've known about Morgan amps for a little while. What's not to like about them! I had planned to get one eventually, but was having a hard time deciding on which model. No dealer nearby. Guess I don't have to decide anymore...whew!

Thanks,
Ray K.

maybe out of thread , but on some way maybe is in ...
Morgan AC 20 is one of the best profile among the other +4.000 Kemper Amplifier profiles
It is so good, that I am thinking to by a real thing , even with KPA one can get 99% close to real Morgan AC 20 sound...

Hi Harry,

If you every decide to buy a "real" Morgan amp, I don't think you will be disappointed. I only have the one, so far, but am quite impressed with the build and quality components.

I do think that is cool that you find the Morgan AC 20 is one of the best profiles in the Kemper.

Thanks,
Ray K.

I haven't confirmed this with Joe. But, apparently the Mercury Magnetics transformers and choke where made specifically for this amp. Or, at least to Joe's specs. The Mercury Magnetics labels have "Morgan-Stealth-_" where "_" equals O, P or C (Output, Power or Choke).

Yes it is Charlie - thanks! :)

That's a nice combination that you have! I've heard the AC version live. I'm listening to the RCA samples right now and they sound awesome! Must...resist...
