Re-glue case binding

ok so I have an old (70's) Epiphone banjo case that the binding is falling off. The case is leather/tolex and has a couple of lines of what looks to be metal (aluminum maybe?) encased in clear vinyl binding that goes all around the case. Well, it's falling of and I'm wondering what might be the best glue to stick it back on with? Suggestions? Here's a pic:
