I just found the receipt in the case of my Hollow Drop Top and realised that I've owned that guitar for exactly 10 years to the day! That's huge considering that b/4 this, the average life span for an axe was maybe 2-3 years for me (some a whole lot less). This has been my #1 and I have more gigs on it than I can count. As a matter of fact, I'm gigging w/her again tonight.
How about you guys? How long have you had your TAGs?

It'll be another 2 months before I've had my #1 TAG HDT for 10 years. Nothing but joy.

My average number 1 guitar lasts me about 2 years.
Except my Crowdster Plus... 6 years and counting...

Current and only tag? About 1 year.
The TAG that I owned the longest was my cobra s that I sent in for a replacement neck (rosewood neck). That was my absolute favorite guitar. That was my absolute favorite guitar for about 5 years until I sold it during my "les paul" phase :o

Just sold my #1, a Trans White HTC, after 10 years and replaced it with an almost identical version, only solid and a thicker neck. So now my oldest is seven and a half years. But you know, Tom's guitars are so friggin consistent in terms of feel. The new one is bolder sounding for sure.
That said, I have a couple of "other brand" guitars that I have had for over a dozen years.
