Anybody heard anything or played any of these? Looks awful promising and the Youtube demos sound pretty great...QSC lineage..not too shabby?

I played guitar for a buddy last week at his church and he was using one of the Quilter amps with one of my guitars... I have to admit he sounded really good. The amp sounds WAY better than it looks - ha!

it ain't manly looking fer sure dude! It would take a bit to get used to, however, the dials lite up on a dark stage and 200watts through an 8 or 12" speaker??? Like I said, the youtube videos sound great..at 19lbs, it could be a gigger...

With this weight it must be a tube pre / solid state power amp design? Probably a class D power amp?

It IS a Class D power amp. this is a solid state amp that 'sounds and emulates' tubed..I am intrigued at this Class D thing and need to understand it. I hope to explore the website when I have some surf time. Whatever this thing is, it appears to be well planned.

A class D output stage is basically a on/off switching circuit driving a filter so that the on/off switching action will result in an average level that can be made to create an audio signal. I took an interest in how they work before buying a QSC K12. I was skeptical at first, but the HD500 / K12 combo has been great.

I was just coming on here to push y'all towards the videos we did for Quilter. :) I'm late to the game. haha

You can read more about the amps and the shoot on my site at this link. (http://www.thetonechef.com/quilter-labs-amplifiers-and-product-demo-videos/)

The pedalboard video shows some close up beauty shots of my Anderson Classic. Some of the other videos use a stock American Deluxe Telecaster (with the swapped tortoise pickguard) and you can see the beloved Bulldog on the rack behind me.

I'm with ToneLounge on these- the sound is better than the look. And they're lightweight and the front panel is easy to navigate, so I they get points for that.
