Well you just gotta love the internet on so many levels. It enables people who would in all likely hood never meet in person! Such was the case for me last tues night!

As of late I have had a few PM messages back and forth with Corey Witt (Guitarzan), who blew me away with a very gracious offer so I could check something out....but that is not the topic here, regarding an amp I was curious about. We tried to catch up on the phone but missed each other but I figured we would catch up soon. Well I got a PM on monday afternoon that Corey would be in NY doing a Taylor Roadshow in 3 music stores this week! Well it turned out that I was off the next day and that the store was only an hour drive sooo......Tues got to meet and hang out with Corey! It was very very cool and so glad we got to meet in person! Not only is he an outstanding musician, but more importantly he is a real standup guy (come on Tom...give him his library card back!)! It was just one of those things that just fell into place and I am very grateful it did.

Anyway, if any of you guys get a chance to go to a Taylor Roadshow and meet Corey...do it! Plus...learned a bunch about Taylor's guitars! So, thanks Corey! Was a pleasure and hope to get to hook up again...maybe next time get to go get a beer and BS more! Lol! Guitar players and gear.....is there anything that can spark a conversation more? VBG!

Thanks, Paul! It was a good time. I keep trying to explain to my wife how a forum buddy can become a real buddy and the whole concept is foreign to her. :)

I think it starts with common interests and genuine love/passion for what you do. This message board in particular seems to be a fairly small group compared to others like "The Gear Page", which is great, and that possibly contributes to an instant "common bond".

Ment to ask.....I am assuming the dude got his guitar in time? Oh yea, got my Timeline yesterday. Haven't even had a chance to plug it in as I have been wrapped up with other things, but gonna give it a "test drive" later......thanks!
