Yup, have been watching these as well. Great documentation and tour of the old shop. Now they just need to come back to do a tour of the new digs! :D :D :D

That was fun.

The way you cut out the holes in the Crowdster Plus 2 is FASCINATING!

very cool video. I wonder how you would feel sanding a body after you've done a thousand or so....

I watched those vids weekly when i was waiting for my TAG haha and i actually wanted to buy the DVD but apparenlty they dont produce it anymore :(

I have plans to travel to CA next year to meet my long time buddy there, he actually asked me is there anywhere i want to visit while i'm there, like Hollywood, Vegas etc, I told him "Can you drive me to Tom's place instead?" haha.

It'll be very cool to meet the folks that built our dream guitar there (at least for me it is the best!). I think it'll be much more fun than visiting disneyland :D

in another note, is Tom's place actually open for public to visit?

I might be part of the SoCal 3-Day Triple Pass where you get entry to Disney Land, Universal Studios and Tom Anderson Guitarworks. ;)

Pretty fascinating how much water is drained from an already "Dry" piece of wood.....

Love the videos. I can't imagine how nice it must be to be able to move to a new shop that you could plan out ahead of time instead of adding walls and spaces as needed. Love that only 15 or so people do it all.

Watched the PRS video in comparison. Wow! I do like that they say there's lots of quality control, but there are so many people touching the guitars and they move around so much. I just wonder how often (if ever) they really pull a guitar out of production line for a small flaw/finish/ding.

I'm also looking forward to making a trip to the Guitarworks next year hopefully.
