I have four TAGs now and I love all of them for different reasons. I am posting this to pay tribute to Tom's killer guitars and to say thanks to the entire company. I am proud to say I am a TAG player. Now I just need a Pro Am to complete the process. Time for a second job!

Classic #1- I spec'ed this one to compliment the Drop Top. Wanted it to be my Eb tuned guitar with more traditional rock tones. All of my guitars are super comfortable but for some reason the neck on this one just feels super smooth. Extremely comfortable guitar to play.

Classic #2- I loved my first Classic so much that I decided to spec one that is much more traditional in look, sound and feel. A couple of different options than the first with a direct influence from one of my favorite players ever (Gilmour). Changing the pickups to a set of VAs for an even more vintage sounding Classic. Sounds fantastic and feels great (I love the looks).

Body Finish - Black
Body Wood - Alder
Neck Wood - Hard Rock Maple
Neck Finish - Tinted
Nutwidth - 1 11/16 in

Bulldog- I spent the first 16 years playing Les Pauls. Around 2001 I made a drastic change to strat shaped guitars. I am definitely more of a strat shape guy now but wanted a Les Paul style guitar without the Gibson baggage (no slinging intended). The Bulldog was a perfect fit! Traditional single cut looks and feel with the benefits of a TAG. Always loved the traditional Gold Top look. Sounds and plays amazingly well.

Model - Bulldog
Body Finish - Gold Top with Binding
Body Wood - Flame Maple Top on Mahogany
Neck Wood - Mahogany, Rosewood Fingerboard
Neck Finish - Black Headstock and Matching Back, Satin
Nutwidth - 1 11/16-inch
Frets - Jumbo
Back Shape - Even-Taper
Hardware - Chrome
Bridge - Tune-o-matic with Stop Tailpiece
Pickguard -
Pickups - H1 H3
Switching - 3 Way, 4 Knob

All beautiful in their own way, but IMHO the Sage Green Classic screams winner.

awesome variety of TAGS-you have basically all your tonal needs covered. I personally like the all black Gilmour classic, just need the short trem arm, haha. I really think the next TAG I get will be something like that!
