Well... different people have different tastes. The look somewhat reminds me of a Zemaitis Les Paul - which I'm not a big fan of either. However, there are plenty of people who dig that look. If he finds someone who buys it for this price, more power to him! :)

I've tried a couple of times to reply to this thread. That guitar leaves me speechless. It looks like a Tandy pocket book project gone wrong. Can't be good for tone either.

Can't say I've seen anything quite like that one. The things people do to guitars. I saw a Squier on craigslist a little while ago - the guy put like hundreds of dollars of upgrades in it and was trying to sell it for (I don't wanna exaggerate so I won't list the asking price), but I think it was $700 or something.

I guess whatever makes you happy...go ahead and do if you plan on keeping it forever....or don't expect a premium when you try to sell it.

I've certainly made some bad calls over the years modifying guitars, but I never tried to wrap one in tooled leather. What in the world would that do to the tone of the poor thing???
