OK as you may have seen I am on TAG #2. Both are HSS. Let's ignore the H and let's ignore all other specs because they are irrelevant for this question If both SA and SC are hum canceling and I assume from the factory neither comes wired split why do I have a SA1R but not and SC1R? I am aware of two obvious things #1 technically I don't have them because both guitar were used so I have what ever the original guy wanted and #2 I realize that a SC1r does not exist.

what I am I getting/not getting when using both neck and middle pups at once?

the Sa was made to allow splitting. the sc and sf were designed to get the most out of the humcancelling sound. since it's not splitting no reverse is needed.

So if a guitar has an SA1 and SA1r would it have come from the factory set to split when they are both on or only so the person has the option for later?

it would normally have a mini switch to split them all or nothing. up would be split, down humcancelling.

Thanks! I thought the mini only split the bridge.
