Hi All;

I am new to the forum. After wanting a Tom Anderson guitar since the 80's, I finally took the plunge several months ago and ordered a drop top. From what I am told, it should be completed in about a month (mid-June). I can't wait; this guitar has everything I always wanted in one guitar. Hum single hum with switcheroo system, recessed floyd rose trem, maple neck/rosewood board, alder body with quilted maple top in Tigers Eye finish. I have been trying not to get too wound up waiting, but now that I am in the home stretch, I can barely stand it.

I'll post pictures when it arrives.

Welcome. It's always great getting a new Anderson guitar, and if you expect any buyers remorse afterward, there will be none. It's more like "why didn't I do this sooner"!

Thanks all. Yes, I am really looking forward to it, and I am sure it will be exactly as I imagined. The finish is sort of a leap of faith for me; I have seen a few photos, and it looks like what I would want, but I have never seen the actual finish in person. I should only have a month until it reaches me, and I can barely stand waiting.

I will post pictures after it arrives.

Nice. I think it is a beautiful finish. Mine should be here in 2-3 weeks.
