Hi:
I just discovered this forum a few minutes ago. I just started playing last April after quitting for some 25 years. Just fell in love with the blues. Thought that I would have to learn to play (since I definitely can't sing!). Fortunately, my dealer steered me toward the best guitar maker around.

Hi 57PAF-I'm from Hawaii too. Welcome to the forum. What part of Hawaii are you living? I'm assuming your dealer is Dan who's the coolest guy around. What guitar did you end up getting from him? edit-whoops, I just saw that you're from Honolulu so you can forget my first question.

Hi guys!
Thanks for the welcome!
Pluto, I got a classic from Dan's. He knows that I'm a big SRV fan. His playing is what inspired me to start taking lessons after not playing for 25 years. Got a long way to go yet, but its fun.

Aloha 57 Paf,

Im back in Oahu yearly for ~ week but havent been able to
check out Dans yet. The schedule always
fills up visiting friends, wifes family, shopping
and eating plenty local grinds.

Dans will be a priority next visit! I'll make sure I grab the
Champion malasadas afterwards
so not get any sugar on any of his guitars
;)

LOL! Ho braddah, dat's okay, dey goin' polish da geetaz afta, yah! In any case, Dan's is before Champion when you're going down Beretania so it's best to go to Dan's first.

Man,

I want to move to Hawaii - evrybody there owns Andersons!! Tom's family ties there are good for business (and the quality of his guitars don't hurt either)!

Hawaii's not the best place to live, but we do like our Andersons!
