I know one thing we all rave about around here is Tom and the gang's commitment to their customers and the awesome support they give. It seems it's getting harder to find these days. I have to give some kudos to Gator Cases. This is not a commercial, I'm in no way affiliated, or getting anything for this, it was just an experience I wanted to share. Sunday while moving some equipment around the retractable handle snapped on our rolling gator case with the amps in it. I'm not sure how long we have had the case, I know it's over 4 years old. Monday, I went to the Gator site and filled out the parts request form to see if I could buy a new handle. I got an email back in a couple of hours saying they would just send me a new handle out no charge, no questions asked I got it by fedex Wednesday. Amazing. Nice to know there are still companies out there who care for and support their customers. Big fan of Gator now.

Any other outstanding companies/experiences out there?

I've had great dealings with Dr. Z and, if you can believe it, with Line 6.

not musical, but mcmastercarr.com for hardware and shop supplies is ridiculously great. they have a zillion products in stock and if i order in the morning i usually get them in the afternoon. i've gotten things that they said were back ordered in chicago delivered the next day with no air charges. and their website ordering is the best. they're not the cheapest on most things, but quality is always great and their in stock ratio is beyond ridiculous.

I've good experiences in the past with Rivera Amplification. They always answer the phone and a few times I've talked directly to Paul Rivera Sr. and Jr. Always very helpful and followed thru on commitments.

Also great experience with Allen Amplification. very nice, helpful and dependable. Went out of his way to make sure the amp I built worked and was done correctly.

Thanks a lot Tom... I'm blaming my lack of sleep on you. I can't quit looking through the McMaster-Carr site. They've got stuff I didn't even realize I needed!! :eek:

McMaster-Carr may be one of the greatest sites I've ever seen. Why haven't I seen this before!?

+1 on Dr Z.

Apple does a nice job too. And while I'm at it, I've had real good experiences with ATT Wireless and Netflix.

Bank of America is the absolute worst however.

Sent my Pro Co Rat pedal in for a new switch a few years ago. It came back fixed, and looking like a brand new pedal. If not for the serial number matching----I would have sworn they sent me a new pedal. I was impressed.

I will add that Sam Timberlake of Samamp has been really excellent to work with. He has sent several additional free tubes for me to try, choose custom tolex, and chat with me at length post purchase about amplifiers and tubes in general.

I have to attest to Dr. Z being great as well. I had posted on here a while ago about a crackling sound in my amp. It was caused by a really bad power attenuator that was installed very poorly by the old owner. It voided the warranty big time but they removed it and put it back to stock, retubed it for me and charged me almost nothing for the job. Great guys indeed.

I have gotten tremendous customer support from a lot of the smaller US companies. Guitar companies like suhr, d'pergo, and grosh have always gone out of their way to help and answer dumb questions! Smaller amps companies like bogner, germino, etc. have always been helpful while there are tons of outstanding pedal companies like analogman, sib (not sure if they are still around) and wampler. Gotta say though that my best experience with customer service has to be tom and suhr. Those guys go the extra mile by far and to have the president of their respective companies answer questions and help out on ordering is just mind blowing! I cannot emphasize enough how great tom anderson and john suhr are with respect to outstanding customer service!
