:)
Just picked up the new Anderson from Dan's Guitars last night and finally had some time to take two fast pictures. Wow, the wait was sure worth it-incredibly light, resonant, incredible sustain, etc., etc. Every Anderson, both new and used, have been absolutely incredible and this one also falls into the category of greatness!! haha. :D

Thanks everyone for the compliments! Specs are:
Drop top, alder body
Tigers eye burst
Anderson standard neck
11 1/16 nut width
Heavy frets
H2+, SF1, SF1 pickups
5 way switch
VA boost
Titanium saddles
I must have changed the specs a million times while it was being built but Tom was as usual, extremely patient. TAG's customer service is second to none!
As for the guitar, like all TAGs, superb playability right out of the box. No tuning necessary!! The neck is a little bowed, I will tweak it after a week or so as it gets used to the climate. Really great sounding guitar, love the SF pickups (never played them until now), and the resonance and sustain are incredible.

Good grief...that is stunning, pluto. Congrats to you!!!
How about these guitars, huh? Just remarkable playability, fit & feel. Oh, and safe to say their looks aren't that bad either. :D ;)

Thanks Tmihm and GuitArtMan. I agree that when it comes to playability, nothing comes close to an Anderson. I think I finally have realized the hard way that playability is as important as tone. The cool thing though about Andersons is that there is no sacrifice in tone so long as you are not expecting to have a gibby les paul or fender strat, so you get the best of both worlds!

Is it just me or is the TA droptop body shape morphing? Looks like it has the horns of a suhr modern...
Nope, been the same since 1985.

Yep, the angle of the photo distorted the horns a little bit. I have noticed that even the photos of the modern's horns and backshape are a little exagerated compared to the real deal (the elliptical shape looks pulled out more and the hobottom horn looks unusually elongated in the photos IMHO).
Thanks for the compliment of the top!

Congrats- beauteous guitar!
Tiger eye has always been one of my favorite finishes- looks really nice with the maple neck!
Love the chevron-ish layout of the flame top- was this a spec callout with your order?

Hey bradda Enrico, thanks, love time, no talk! I didn't spec out the chevron but if i had requested a personalized top, I would have asked for either chevron or reverse chevron (most likely a reverse chevron), so I was super happy when I unzippered the case (got the soft case too). In any event, absolutely killer top, but more importantly, it sounds great like all Andersons. The sf pickups are great, this is my first experience with them. Almost like a true single coil but without the hum.

Great top! Pluto what amp are you using with this T/A?

Thanks 100watt. I am currently playing it on my little practice amp, a marshall class 5 combo. I also own a bogner ecstasy 101b, but that amp is in the shop.

Thanks 100watt, I love the ecstasy! As for string gauge, I use 10s, regular bottom.
