5-Way Blade Switch Issues

The first and second positions towards the bridge stopped working on my Atom Special. I took off the back cover and all of the soldered wire connections appear to be in good shape.

I traveled to the US for the Christmas Holiday season, came back to Singapore with the AXE-FX II, plugged in the Atom and the issue developed.

Tried a different cable, no luck.

Any ideas?

If it has sat for a while, you could just spray the switch with doxit. Or you could have a failed pickup. Try tapping on the pickup with the selected in the middle position. If the pickup is still dead, its probably bad and we'll need to get you another one.

Tom, thanks for your usual excellent customer service. I don't know how you do it!

Tapping on the bridge pup with the selector in the middle produces no sound. Tapping on the neck pup is audible.

It's the pickup then. It is possible that rehearing the joints on the bottom of the pickup will bring .It back to life. If that doesn't do it we can send x replacement.
