I like the Elixir Nano on my Crowdster, but prefer the Poly on my "real acoustic" for some odd reason... .011s is what I use.

Elixir Nano Phosphor Bronze on my Taylor and regular Nanos on my McPherson. For some reason the Phosphor's sound muddy

Thanks for all the feedback folks!
I've been using Martin SP's, but haven't been exactly overawed by them. I did think of trying the Martin Eric Clapton Phosphor-Bronzes, but spotted that the lightweights are 12's (!!!) and the mediums 13's - does EC really use 12's/13's, or is that just marketing hype??

What specific guitars are you playing? I spend way too much time on the Acoustic Guitar Forum and I've been trying to match up specific string brands with specific guitar brands to complement their unique sound qualities...

Elixir light (.12) &/or custom light (.11) on the Crowdster +2. If I'm doing more electric work, I go with the custom light. If I'm doing more acoustic stuff for a season, I go with the light. I find that the elixir strings always have "one more day" of play left in them and that I compromised a negligible amount of tone in any of my playing during that "gotta get these strings changed" phase.

on the C+ I use elixir nano custom lights. On my guild I use d'addario phosphor bronze custom lights. they start off nice and bright but do seem to fade fast.

How about your basic 80/20 Martin medium-light gauge in a .0125-.055?

Big Elixir fan here. Nano lights on a small bodied Taylor Grand Concert. Playing another brand feels like wearing somebody else's underwear.

And you would know this how? :D

really prefer lightweights - playing blues, fingerstyle, and don't fancy forcing fulltone bends out of 12's or 13's.
