Hey!

I'm thinking about ordering my Classic Shorty equipped with an Ernie Ball (I don't care for Elixirs) 11s set ( .011 .014 .018p .028 .038 .048). If I later want to put 10s (.010 .013 .017 .026 .036 .046) on it, will the "looser" nut slots be a problem in terms of tuning stability?

Thanks!

The dif is .001-.002", its not an issue.

Thanks Tom! What about the other way around, having the guitar set-up with 10s and then going to 11s?

Not a problem unless you go to a .052 on the bottom.

Great to hear that I can switch between the two with no problems! Now I don't need worry about whether and how much the shorter scale affects the string tension.

Happy new year!
