whats the closest they can go withoout affecting the string?

the feild is so weak on the m1's that you could go as close as you want. the string is tight enough at the bridge that i don't think you could create a problem there either. having them getting in the way of picking will be the main concern.

ive fitted them to my suhr lte ed t replacing JS p90s but the m series are slightly taller so teh pickups are higher than i would do normally - im trying to avoid routing if i can

teh M1 is such a cool pickup!

no prob. i can't decide whether i like them high or low, they both sound great for me.

got them low on teh walnut cobra with 5 way and hi on teh JS ltd ed

when hi they sound like a really sweet but v fat single coil / p90 (M1) and teh mid position is totally cool

on teh cobra they are much more stratty when low

great pickups!

for studio use they are thye best ive found

ive now got teh M1 as close to strings as i can get on the suhr lt ed and it sounds amazing - so much spank

try raising tehm up - its so cool
