????? on Powerbridge

Perhaps for Tom, or Roy.........

Is it possible to have a Powerbridge on an Andy from 2002-----WITHOUT the word "Fishman" across the top of the bridge?

I ask because the dealer claims that it is a Fishman Powerbridge on the guitar-------however, it does not have the usual word across the top.

Serial number does say it has the bridge but-----I know some swap that bridge out for a regular non-peizo bridge. Dealer is three hours away, so I can't go check it for myself. So, thought I'd go straight to the source.

I suppose anything is possible. I do remember getting a few bridges without the logo but I thought we did not use them. It should be easy enough the see if it has a stereo jack with wires connected to it.

So it is possible. Just thought I'd check with you before having them look further into it. Didn't want to come off as distrustful to a very reputable dealer. I'm sure they'd be happy to check it if I ask them to.

the easiest check would be to pull the jackplate off and see if there is a coax cable going to the ring of the stereo jack.
