The other day I decided to give TAG a real test: I was going to try and accomplish all my guitar needs using Anderson guitars. This "party of five" does everything I do with guitars, and then some. Here are the guitars, and what they replaced:
Hollow T Classic: 05-27-03P. Replaces Fender Telecaster.
Cobra: 04-25-96A. Replaces Gibson Les Paul.
Crowdster: 04-28-04A. Doesn't replace anything--just does some things better than a clean electric.
Drop Top: 11-23-98A. Replaces Peavey Wolfgang, Charvel 1A.
Classic: 07-02-00P. Replaces Fender Stratocaster.
So far, I'm not jonesing for the guitars "replaced" by the Andersons, and everything is sounding sweet!

Very nice collection - looks (sounds) like all your tonal needs are covered.

Wow Nick,
That is an awesome collection, really just about anything anybody could ever want.
Ohhh I hate to do this to you. LOL!
How about a mahogany classic with maple top? LOL!
Only kidding.
Enjoy your "family of guitars":)

Hi Nick,
What a beautiful collection! I can hear the tour guide’s voice: “And now ladies and gentleman if you’ll come right this way we will be viewing the famous Nick Dahl…Tom Anderson collection. It is this collection and this collection alone that has caused guitar players from all over the country to envy him.”
Now don’t worry. I know what you are thinking Nick and its okay. Aren’t you saying, “What is left for me, what Anderson frontiers are left to conquered? The answer is simple: Alder Classic is next—I can feel it.
Have fun!

That Dakota Red alder Classic GOTW would be my choice. When I saw it I thought to myself, that is exactly what I would order in a classic. If only I didn't have a HDTC on order already. A Classic is definitely going to be my next guitar after the HDTC!
