I have a '96 swamp ash Hollow Classic (NAMM guitar IIRC) with a SA1/SA1R/SA2 pickup compliment. They sounded great for funk and country (which is what I mostly used this guitar for) but I find them a little too polite for blues rock (which is what I'm doing right now). I like this guitar a lot and want to use it for this project, but it needs a little help. Which pickups should I be looking at to give it a bit more "attitude"?

try the sc1/sc1/sc3 combination. i have in both solid bodies and hollows. they work great with the boost too.
i can still get some great grit and cleans up awesome too.
