Hi guys, I feel dumb asking this, but how exactly does the va booster work? Can it be added to any existing single coil pickups, or do they have to be a certain model? I just played a classic with a va, and it killed, would love to add it to my classic, but wasn't sure if I needed a whole new pickguard. Thanks in advance,
Kurt

Hi, read that, but wasn't sure if it could be applied to any pickups or if certain models had to be in the guitar. Thanks,

it was tuned for our VA series pickups and works best with them. we install them on many different pickups and they have varying amounts of boost depending on the pickups. hotter pickups have less affect. i usually don't recommend them with hotter pickups but then we have had a number of people love what they do. it's probably very rig dependent on the hotter pickups. the effect on Va's is pretty darn cool.

I have the VA on my newest TA DT. Weird though...the spec sheet says VA boost, yet the mini-toggle goes 3 ways

Up, the guitar acts like SSS.
middle it's SSH.
down it's SSH with boost.
