Just a quick heads up that the Bulldog receives a favourable full review in this months Uk Guitarist magazine by Dave Burrluck, who concluded the Bulldog is 'A masterful Tom Anderson guitar that looks like a single-cut , but sounds like a whole collection of guitars'

Just read through the review. Nice review of the bulldog, but I don't quite agree with some of the opinions on price. Do people buy Andersons just to collect them? For me TAGs are the ultimate players guitar. Has the reviewer compared prices lately to custom shop Gibsons, Fenders, and PRS? I can remember specing out a guitar on the Carvin site and it came close to a TAG price while not being in the same league.

they really came down hard on the price. look I am in no way a wealthy person and I was able to get 3 Anderson's over time. Its worth it and a small price to pay (no pun intended) for such great guitars. Oh and a Google search would show lefties too

They're always hard on price, that's not negative to me.

So true. It's an advantage because most people subconsciously equate relative price to relative quality.

So being slagged on price alone highlights the implication of a correspondingly higher quality than 'lower' priced items.

I alway drive past that house on my way into London, Avenue Road is a very 'upscale' address, but believe it or not that house was a YMCA hostel, always made me laugh!

Things are unbelievably expensive here, that's why every trip I did to the US I always brought back a guitar!

taking a price as the main factor in assessing the finest musical instruments is stupid .
London is one of the most expensive city in the World , I know a few restaurants/clubs where bottle of wine is more expensive than basic Bulldog .
so what ?

Just saying that we have 'tight' disposable incomes because the cost of living can be so high here! £130 of gas to fill a Range Rover now! Domestic heating gas is set to increase 25%. Even meat is set to shoot up.....all this puts a squeeze on the ££'s left for guitars!
