I just picked up a classic vibe 50's tele and am blown away. I know I'm still in the honeymoon period but, the neck (c shaped not to big, medium frets) feels and sounds great(straight as an arrow and 3/64 action, 12th fret and no buzz). I had a 52 ri and a baja tele (liked the baja better then the 52 ri) had to sell those and just wanted a good inexpensive tele, the classic vibe is it IMHO. its made out of pine and the pickups sound killer. I think you need to go and play one. Made in China, they go for $349 but, got $50 off at GC.
