Are the SC1s too deep "big" to put in an older DTC?

Heard they would not fit depth-wise into a late ninetys DTC ?...say it isnt so...

i'm afraid it is so. you might get by with just putting some 1/8" deep holes where the 2 assembly screws are on the bottom of the pickup. but you would not be able to lower them way down.
