any body got an old chrome ebow for sale? i have the one i bought in '75, and use it a lot. i bought one of the new and improved models but i'm really used to the way the old one works. it's slower and fussier, but i like it. if it dies on me i'll cry, so if you know of one for sale, please let me know.

nope, that one has the little slide switch at the butt. the chrome one comes on when it senses the string under it. it takes a second, but it also shuts itself off when there is no string .

Hi Tom,

Have you found the Ebow you were looking for yet?

I may have found one up here.

What should I look for to make sure it's the right one?

My best to everyone there.

Joe

haven't found one yet. they are chrome, have no switch, and have a red led that comes on when you get it near something steel. they shut off automaticly after a bit with no use. let me know.
