Bulldog Questions

Hey all,

I mentioned in another post that I got to
play a Bulldog recently. I liked it a lot. My
old LP Custom got retired because of the
weight so the Bulldog is a nice alternative.

I see that it only lists flame maple and
mahogany for tops on the order form. Is
there any rumour about quilted maple being
available (if we talk nice and say please)?

I was thinking about an HC3 in the bridge
and a PQ in the neck. Any thoughts on
which PQ would be a good match output
wise for the HC3?

we have done a couple quilt tops, zoran here has one. that wood is so expensive that the upcharge is kind of embarrassing.
we have a couple PxH bulldogs in the works right now. depends what you're after from the neck pickup, but the likely choice would be a PQ1.

That's truth , it is expensive , and it is not necessary ..but it worth every and each penny .
you can watch that top for hours , and you will not get boring :D
guitar is always different , new and young , depending of the light or angle of the look .
more , there is something with that tubular quilt , which makes sound more soulful and truth-full ... ;)
Don't ask me why , I don't know the answer ...
