What are you guys using to protect your equipment and get consistent power? I have noisy and unpredictable power where I live and I'm looking to purchase a good product. Any suggestions?

I've always just plugged my amp into a $20 Furman power strip that I purchased at Guitar Center. It certainly doesn't help with the noise and my amp tone is always very inconsistent.

I'm also in the process of putting together a home studio for recording.

So...

1) What do you use for your guitar amp?
2) For those who record, what do you use for your computer, pre-amps and other expensive equipment?

Your input is greatly appreciated!

I use Furman rackmount PL-8's in my guitar rack and pretty much in every rack of live gear we have.

for my computers, I use the expensive multiplug power strips that guarantee certain levels of power and guarantee your equipment, as well as a back up power supply.

I'm using a Furman AR-15II Voltage Regulator and Power Conditioner for all my gear. I'm very happy with it, except for its weight! Anyway, I think it's been discontinued I believe...

Furman makes voltage regulators and also a true power conditioner called the Power Factor. P-1800 PF and P-1800 PF- R for rack mounts. It was made specifically for guitar amps. Go to Furmansound.com and have a look.
