Came to use my 20 yr old Hollow T the other day and took her from the case, all seemed well till I went to adjust the volume and the pot felt sticky, I applied a bit more pressure then it spun all the way round. At first I thought the knob was loose, but it wasn't. I removed the knob and noticed that the shaft of the pot has lifted up and was quite loose but still firmly secured. It will push back down but then the vol doesn't adjust properly.
I guess I will have to replace the pot. Anyone know out there what value of K this one will be and what make does TA use for pots. Its an original guitar and I want to keep it 'correct'.

we've always used 500k pots with the exception of some vintagy stuff that we used 250k for. w have changed brands many times oer the years in search of the best we could find. i will guess that if it's 20 years old it is likely a cts pot, made in usa before they moved everything to mexico. we use alpha pots not and are very happy with them.
