It was mentioned on a previous thread how great the Anderson tone control is and Tom mentioned he uses a different cap to everyone else.

What is the value of the cap and is it connected in the usual manner ?
Anyone know ? :D

Thought I'd fit one in my non Anderson guitar too ( with Anderson pickups )

Wolf,

Unless he has changed his "secret formula," I believe Tom uses an .01 cap connected as usual.

Hope that helps,
Ray K.

that is correct. general rule is that the smaller the value the lower the cut frequesncy is. so a .05 like fender uses takes out highs and most of the middle. our .01 leaves in a lot more middle. a .0033 acts like a treble cut only control.
