Is refinishing an option?

Does anyone know (Tom? knock knock?), if the factory will refinish a guitar in a different color? Or, is that consider declasse? Verbotin?

I love one of my TAG's tones, but not the particular color/finish; Meanwhile, my wife really wants a blue TAG in the house. So, given I have the tone I want, rather than starting from scratch I wonder aloud whether it is possible to have the guitar refinished in a different color, and what the cost would be. :rolleyes:

Yes, yes, I expect your suggestions that this is license to order a new guitar. Perhaps it is, but I would at least like to know if a new finish on a guitar is a possibility and at what cost. :p

that sums it up. it's just too labor intensive to make it practical.
