I'm new here but am a long time Anderson fan (as young as I am)! I grew up down the street from Tom's shop in Newbury Park, CA and was first introduced to Tom through a friend. I fell in love with Anderson guitars immediately and ended up ordering a Crowdster after saving my pennies for over a year (money from cleaning horse stalls, leading worship part time, and delivering flowers doesn't pay an 18 year old as well as you'd think ;) ). I ordered my Bora to Trans Blue burst with binding Crowdster from Tom around Halloween of 2004 and since the wait time was killing me I made costumes for my wife and I mirroring my soon-to-be rig! As it turns out, because of my gumption for TAG's, me and my guitar had the privilege of becoming guitar of the week! You can check me and all of my geekiness out here:

So, hello! I don't know why it's taken me this long to join this forum, but I'm glad to be here with you all!

I will take responsibility as the friend that introduced him to Tom :D

Welcome Devanovich, believe me when I say that you will find EVERYTHING you need here and the people are great.

That's me standing on the chair holding up the backdrop :p

I was watching your Bora Bora Blue finish for a long time before I decided to go that way with my female Bulldog !

I know, there's something about that finish that just makes you want to make music :) I get compliments on it ALL the time...now if only I got FLAMED maple instead! Oh well, as you can tell I was certainly in a "Geek" phase of life...gotta love the braces! :D

I find a Tubular Quilt (personalized ) as a better solution with Bora Bora Trans Blue Burst .....but to each its own ....;)
In any other colour I prefer Flame Maple ....personal taste is always funny thing ;)

Welcome to the forum. I have to say that your Crowdster had some influence on my choices for mine. I have a C+2 with the same finish and very similar quilt too. Welcome.

Welcome D. Your story gave me BIG SMILE for today!

It's all good. I have not stopped playing my Crowdie Plus (flamed tiger maple) since I got the durned thing. Have it plugged into a Fishman Loudbox Mini. Superb in every way. Jonesing now for a Baritom? Nasty GAS flare-up. Welcome aboard!
best regards,
Bradley :D
