I have a cobra with a H1- in the neck position and an H2+ in the bridge. To balance out the volume of the two, I have to run the neck p/u almost flush with the mounting ring. Measure wise, I'm running my bridge around 2/64th from the strings(unfretted) and the neck p/u 5/64th away from the strings. Does this sound about right? Thanks for any opinions on this.
doesn't sound far off. that's a little closer than i set the bridge hb, but even still the neck humbucker ends up being pretty low.

thanks Tom, i think I'm almost there. Next thing is extending the tubing holding the neck p/u, it's flopping around. i do love the spilt sounds i'm getting with these two p/u's.

I have the same combo. Similar difference in height. Also totally awesome sounding. Those PUs split better than anything else I've ever used. Period.

yea these are the first p/u's that the split sounds good on. In the past, on other p/u's, the split sounds were to weak. Very happy, it's like getting another channel on my amp.
