My Crowdster +2 came yesterday. Thanks to Tom and crew for making a mighty fine guitar. Here are some pictures. Mass Street Music is a fine store to deal with and I can highly recommend them. Talk to Tim or John.

Looks awesome! Congratulations on the new guitar. Looks like Burnished Orange. My Drop Top is in the same finish. Love it!

Congrats! Mine came in last Friday and I've only put it down a few times.

SUCH an amazing guitar... that neck pickup is DA BOMB!

Nice flame. I prefer flame these days myself...

Thanks everyone. I have been wearing my fingers out playing it this week.

Has anyone tried phosphor bronze strings on their Crowdster? I tend to prefer them on my acoustic guitars and wondered how they will respond on the Crowdster.

I think it might be a taste thing. I tried Cleartones once. hated the sound of phosphor, and since Cleartone doesn't make an 80/20, I just stuck with Elixir 80/20s, which make me happy anyway.

Way cool Crowdster +2!

I stick with the Elixirs.

Elixir makes a nano web string in phosphor bronze and that is what I was thinking about trying.

I am looking forward to using the guitar for worship tomorrow. I will be running the acoustic side to the PA through a LR Baggs para DI and the electric side to a Dr. Z Maz Jr. 18 after my pedalboard.

i briefly tried the elixir phosphor, and they were enough edgier to me that they came off pretty fast. it seemed like not only more edgy highs, but less warm lows.

Thanks Tom. I will probably experiment with strings but I appreciate your evaluation and reasoning. I am always amazed at the quality of instruments that your shop consistently produces. This is my fourth TAG and I have yet to find a flaw.

Used the Crowdster +2 in worship this morning and it was great. The electric sound sat in the mix well, the blended sound on a country styled song had a real snappy tele type vibe, and the acoustic was convincing. This guitar is fun!

Thanks again Tom for designing it..
