after doing enough crowdster to crowdster plus mods we regretfully will stop offering that mod. the repositioned controls and time required are just to costly.
we will still do the plus to plus 2 as we have been for $250+ return shipping.

I have a Crowdster +2 coming any day now and was wondering, will the cord that I received with my '98 hollow T and a Piezo pickup in the bridge work with the Crowdster? It is T/R/S on one end that is split to a Y on the other end.

Thank you very much. I have been mumbling the word patience as I wait for the guitar's arrival. Patience is not the virtue that it is cracked up to be.

Gracious me, am I ever glad I did THAT right away...

I totally understand, though.

Curious, are you getting many Crowdster Plus upgrades without the "plus 2" option at all?

Oops...

I get it... it's only the Crowdster to Plus mods... I understand...

Still, I'm curious about the ratio these days.

we get a fair amount of plus to plus2. it is 6 times the work to do the crowdster to plus mod, and then there is not room to go to plus 2. so even at $450 for the mod it was a time killer.

I must admit, I always felt that doing those C to C+ mods was... *uh hem*... "not fun."

I can imagine.

Do many people even order the Crowdster Plus model anymore?

I myself would only consider the Crowdster or the Plus 2 at this point.

Oh, I'm not trading back any time soon... don't get me wrong... but I think that single pickup looks really freakin' cool... and the regular Crowdster is the best lookin'. But I wouldn't be able to use it.

I'd have to agree that the Crowdster is the best to look at. I'm not a big fan of the oval pickup mount on the C+ though. The C+2 pickup mounts are a bit better looking I think. But then we buy these things to play and listen to. I've only had mine for a few weeks now and have been to band practice a few times with it. The first time I ran the C+2 split through the PA and to my guitar rig at the same time was a true Kodak moment. The guys stopped the normal BS and listened. They (and I) just thought it was way cool.
