I just bought a new Drop Top and according to the serial number it was built on a Saturday afternoon. Since someone was obviously working overtime I guess I got a particularly good deal on this one ;)

we use all the days of the week, even if we're not here. guitars are made within a couple days of the date that is on them.

There has been a few rare times that we would work on Saturday and catch up on work... It's quite possible yours was finished on a Saturday.... but what Tom said too.
