SC --> VA, New Pots Needed?

I am actually quite happy new SC equipped new Classic. But in one or two of my amps, that sterile character that plagues all noiseless seems to come through clearly when playing clean. It's not a knock on Tom's pups because they are exceptional through drive tones...I mean exceptional.

So, think I gonna just deal with the hum and go back to real singles. Question is...do I need to change to 250k pots? My classic has the S/S/H layout..so I am guessing the they're 500K.

same pots. in the switching part of the circuit we add vintage voicing when it needs to be on.

Ah, excellent then, I'll check with Alpha Audio to see if they stock VA pups.
