Rosewood or mahogany body, spruce top, 12 or 14 fret model, must be a recognized brand like Martin, Bourgeois, H&D, Collings cause it's going overseas where all the esoteric builders are not known in case of resale. Willing to pay $1500-2K. Prefer SoCal location.
thanks, FT

I'd suggest you look at a Martin OM-21. The price range is correct for a new one and it's an awesome guitar. Rosewood back and sides, scalloped bracing, all the good stuff without "bling".

My 2 cents.

Found a Bourgeois OM sitka/mahog for the right price.

There's a huge difference between mahogany and rosewood; I strongly suggest you try both before buying. Again. just my $0.02. And keep the change!

The guitar is for an in-law who has started playing again after spending 10 years noodling on sax so I decided to sell him my Huss & Dalton OM adi/rosewood with the understanding I can buy it back if I miss it too much.
