View Full Version : Anderson T Classic Modification
I recently modified my T Classic to an Esquire style guitar. This guitar, which has been with me since January, 2003 has become my all time favorite guitar. It was ordered as a standard T Classic and then, I had a hum canceling bridge P/U and a neck humbucker installed. Now, it is an Esquire guitar with a hum canceling bridge P/U. This should be fun.

Very cool! What does the switch do now? What colour is it that? Baby (Sonic) Blue?
The color is Ice Blue. The switch splits the pickup in position 2.

Like it!!!
This guitar has become really, really fun and challenging to play. I'm in the process of tracking a new song and this guitar handles most of the heavy rock rhythm guitars. The clarity along with the full bodied tones are really sitting nice in the mix. The challenge is resisting the habit to switch to another P/U or P/U combination. With just the one P/U, I'm finding myself just playing instead of thinking, "I wonder what the neck and bridge P/U will sound like for this part?" Instead, I just hit record and hope for the best.:)

Hmmm....the only PU position I really ever bonded with on a T style guitar is the neck...so that wouldn't work for me:(
